| The liquid crystal digital Izod
pendulum impact tester is an instrument for testing the impact
toughness of the non-metallic materials such as rigid plastic,
reinforced nylon, glass fiber reinforced plastic, ceramics, cast
stone, plastic appliances and insulation materials. It is widely
used in the scientific research institutes, universities and
non-metallic material manufacturers as the common quality test
instrument. The tester is simple in structure, convenient to

1. When the
pendulum has not yet hung on the pendulum hanging mechanism in
the raising process, workers shall not move or work in the scope
of pendulum swing, so as to avoid danger from accidental power
outage.
2. Only
professional or authorized officer can be allowed to disassemble
the machine, otherwise the operator need to be responsible for
all the consequences.
3. Be sure to pull out the power plug when the
machine is not used for a long time. |

1. High-precision intelligent
controller equipped with LCD display is adopted, and the data
can be read intuitively and accurately.
2. The carbon fiber pendulum rod is used, the rigidity of
materials is improved in the impact direction, the impacting

The ventilation
holes are designed for achieving heat dissipation of internal
parts and components and avoiding burnout and other faults. The
supporting legs can stably support the tester body and prevent
the tester from vibration and movement during use. |

Operation
Method |
1. Testing Preparation
Prepare samples, measure and record the data.
2. Power on
After determining that the power wire and signal wire of the
instrument are correctly connected, press the power switch and
power on the system. After the system is powered on for about 2
seconds, the LCD screen should displays normally, if not, you
should check if the electrical system is malfunctioning.
3. Sample Installation
Step1, selection of samples.
Check the samples, and ensure that the samples are free of
obvious cracks, are uniform and are free of obvious depression,
defects and so on.
Step 2, installation of samples.
Place the sample in the middle of the groove in the mode that
the gap of the sample is rightward, hold the sample with left
hand, hold the centering model with right hand, parallel insert
the centering model on the right side of the sample in parallel,
let the centering portion of the sample centering block coincide
with the sample gap, that is, enable the central point of the
gap and the upper plane of the fixture to be located on the same
plane, and then rotate the fixing handle with right hand to
clamp the sample.
4. Pendulum Release and
Impact
Hold the pendulum up with right hand, hang it on the resisting
rod, press the "impact" button, the pendulum drops down to hit
the sample. If the sample is not broken, the sample will rebound
to the right, when the sample rebounds to the highest point, the
pendulum speed is minimum, and the kinetic energy is close to
zero. At this moment, quickly hold the pendulum rod from the
upper right side of the pendulum to prevent the pendulum from
impacting on the sample again.
Note: There is
a certain danger in this process, the operator must master the
operation skills to prevent accidents, and the untrained persons
are strictly prohibited from using the machine!!! |
